Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a Prymo account, we collect your name and email address. You can sign in with your email and a password, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only receive and store the private relay address Apple provides. If you sign in with Apple or Google without email sharing enabled, we may store a system-generated placeholder address instead of a real one. We never see your Apple or Google password.

Training Profile

To build and adjust your training plan, we ask for details such as your birthday, biological sex, height, weight, race goal (distance, target time, date and location), weekly mileage, running experience, typical training pace, training days and session length, available equipment and surface, and — if you choose to share them — your resting and maximum heart rate, sleep hours, stress and recovery levels, and any medical conditions, current pain, recent injuries, or doctor's clearance status you enter, including any free-text notes you write in these fields. Sharing medical or injury information is optional but improves the accuracy of your plan.

Apple Health Data

If you connect Apple Health, Prymo reads (but never writes to) your workouts, sleep analysis, height, body mass, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, active energy burned, and walking/running distance. We use this data only to personalize your training plan and to calculate your race-readiness score. You can revoke Prymo's access to Health data at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Location & Run Data

While you record a run, Prymo uses your device's location only in the foreground to measure distance, pace, and your route. Raw GPS coordinates are processed on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or stored in our database. We do save a simplified, relative shape of your route (not real-world coordinates), along with pace, splits, heart rate, calories, elevation gain, and any notes or mood you add to that run, so your run history can sync across your devices.

Training & Activity Data

We store your training plan, completed and planned workouts, achievements, challenges, and the profile details above in our backend, associated with your device or account, so your plan and history stay in sync.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to: generate and continuously adjust your personal training plan; calculate your race-readiness score and progress analytics; sync your training history and widgets across sessions; verify your account and email address; respond to support requests; and maintain the security and reliability of the app. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

AI-Generated Training Plans

To generate and adjust your training plan, Prymo sends your training profile (including any medical, injury, or pain information you provide) and your recent activity history to OpenAI, which processes this data on our behalf solely to produce your plan. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models under our agreement with them, and does not retain it beyond what is needed to fulfil the request.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. We share information only with the service providers who help us run Prymo, each acting solely on our instructions:

• Apple — to authenticate Sign in with Apple and to provide Apple Health data you choose to connect.
• Google — to authenticate Sign in with Google.
• Resend — to deliver the verification code email when you register or need to re-verify your email address.
• OpenAI — to generate and adjust your AI training plan, as described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Prymo, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

No Advertising or Tracking

Prymo contains no advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or cross-app tracking technology, and we do not use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data Retention

We keep your account and training data for as long as your account is active, so your plan and history remain available to you. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, synced training data, and notifications from our systems, other than records we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes).

Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated training data at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. This immediately and permanently erases your profile, synced activities, and notifications from our servers.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave us. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR, and you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. International Data Transfers

Prymo and its service providers may process and store your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where this involves transferring personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed storage of passwords, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Prymo is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@prymoapp.com and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Prymo after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
